Fudge earned his spurs helping to write a popular ABZ music-scene fanzine in the early 00s. It was called ‘Fudge’ (dictionary definition: ‘to put together in a makeshift or dishonest manner’). The name stuck. He cut his promoting teeth working in the city’s most infamous ex-venue, Doctor Drakes. His nights were legendary. He hates phones.
